My most recent experience was part of my outdoor deck project where I wanted to have the same quality lighting consistent with all of my current landscape lighting - versus solar lighting. It involved some new technology and products. From the initial outreach and meeting with Brian on design to the follow on communication with Kevin regarding the expected dates that I needed them based upon the deck project all the way to actual installation with Matt it was like an orchestra production.
Matt is a perfectionist and makes sure that the lighting is placed correctly and smooth to the eye visually. He is open to share his ideas but always defers to the homeowner. He worked well with the deck contractors to make sure they were not delayed but at the same time stayed on a good timeline for the lighting as that was the final piece of the project. He pointed out some things only a professional could do and was easy to work with throughout. Could not be happier with the final result - again!
Having been living in Raleigh since 1999 this is one of the only companies I have continued to do business with and will continue to do so. Carolina outdoor lighting recently did a project on our house and it looks awesome! I’m so pleased with the results!! After talking to them on the phone, they told me they do night consults where they give you an idea of what your house would look like etc. Doug came out and I was sold! They worked with us on how many lights and really made it work amazingly and with less lights than others quoted!

I had some issues with my programmer and the landscape lights not coming on at the right time. Patrick at Carolina Outdoor came out and reprogrammed the unit and checked all my lights to let me know which were out. Later that day the lights came on during the day and I called them back at 6pm and Patrick returned my call. Long story short the unit is not functioning properly any longer (and it was programmed correctly) and a new programmer unit is needed. Through talking to me Patrick suggested something even simpler.. a photocell unit that simply senses night/day. I really appreciate a business who listens to you and provides solutions that meet my needs. And to call me back after hours was really impressive and much appreciated bc of course I’m thinking dang you were just here! Anyway, my experience with Carolina outdoor was all excellent … all the staff I interacted with were super courteous, knowledgeable, came on time and a fair price. Def will use them for all future needs.

We decided to have some upgrades done to the mediocre existing lighting that was done by another company at the front of our house. Carolina Outdoor Lighting was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the changes we made were perfect. We were able to reduce costs significantly by upgrading the lamps in our existing fixtures instead of buying brand new fixtures. It is clear that they care about their customers and doing quality work. They are very honest and upfront about offering ways clients can work within their budget while still achieving a great end result. Shout out to Austin for doing an excellent job!
