Every residential Low Voltage LED lighting system we install is a blend between our customers’ vision and our design expertise. Landscape Lighting Installation Methods
All of our installations are built for longevity and durability. We use high-quality American-made fixtures manufactured in North Carolina and the highest-quality transformers, wires, connectors, and LED bulbs available. During each installation, we pay special attention to the depth of our cable in grass areas to eliminate concerns about cut lines during aeration. Our slit trenching methods cause minimal disturbance to the turf, as the soil is not lifted above the turf surface onto the grass. Around the home and flowerbeds, we try to remain close to the architecture or close to the edge of the flowerbeds to alleviate concerns of a cut line during planting. We trench and staple down all wires to minimize resurfacing through soil and mulch. All of our connections are hard-wired using industrial-grade wire nuts filled with a specially formulated electrical joint compound to resist corrosion and enhance conductivity. Carolina Outdoor Lighting Professionals Inc. does NOT use any “quick connect” cable connectors.
Carolina outdoor lighting recently did a project on our house and it looks awesome! I’m so pleased with the results!! After talking to them on the phone, they told me they do night consults where they give you an idea of what your house would look like etc. Doug came out and I was sold! They worked with us on how many lights and really made it work amazingly and with less lights than others quoted!

I had some issues with my programmer and the landscape lights not coming on at the right time. Patrick at Carolina Outdoor came out and reprogrammed the unit and checked all my lights to let me know which were out. Later that day the lights came on during the day and I called them back at 6pm and Patrick returned my call. Long story short the unit is not functioning properly any longer (and it was programmed correctly) and a new programmer unit is needed. Through talking to me Patrick suggested something even simpler.. a photocell unit that simply senses night/day. I really appreciate a business who listens to you and provides solutions that meet my needs. And to call me back after hours was really impressive and much appreciated bc of course I’m thinking dang you were just here! Anyway, my experience with Carolina outdoor was all excellent … all the staff I interacted with were super courteous, knowledgeable, came on time and a fair price. Def will use them for all future needs.

We decided to have some upgrades done to the mediocre existing lighting that was done by another company at the front of our house. Carolina Outdoor Lighting was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the changes we made were perfect. We were able to reduce costs significantly by upgrading the lamps in our existing fixtures instead of buying brand new fixtures. It is clear that they care about their customers and doing quality work. They are very honest and upfront about offering ways clients can work within their budget while still achieving a great end result. Shout out to Austin for doing an excellent job!
