Where cabling is underground, special care is taken to ensure cables will not be disturbed by edging and aeration equipment. Transformers are never over loaded and each system is installed to overcome voltage loss due to long distance cabling. In most cases, customers elect to control their system with a wireless, programmable controller that eliminates the need to interface directly with the commercial grade transformer. In a typical system, one or more transformers can be installed outdoors, in a crawl space, utility room, or other specific location to optimize low voltage power distribution.
